Creative i’s Winning Streak Continues With International Summit Awards
Creative i Advertising & Interactive Media has received international recognition in the 2006 Summit Creative Awards.
The Summit Creative Awards is the only international creative competition geared to small- to mid-size advertising agencies worldwide.
Judges recognized Creative i for excellence in advertising and marketing communications produced for the 2005 Palo Alto Concours d’Elegance classic car show, as well as for self-promotional print and online communications.
“The Summit Awards isn’t just a local creative competition,” says agency founder Tom Antal. “This award demonstrates that our team is applying world-class creativity to meet our clients’ needs.”
Specifically, the agency’s work for the Concours was recognized for its integrated campaign, which included humorous print and broadcast advertising, as well as a groundbreaking “fake” blog (or “flog”). The agency also won awards for its self-promotional Web site, print advertising and stationary/identity system.
“Whether it’s compared to work produced in New York, London, Tokyo or Singapore, our team’s creative product stands among the best in the world,” says Rick Mathieson, vice president of creative strategy. “We already knew our clients were thrilled. It’s nice to know the international advertising community is, too.”
Indeed, the agency is on a streak. The Summit Awards come on the heels of major wins at the 2006 Silicon Valley ADDY Awards, which included two prestigious “Judges Awards” for creative excellence.
